Yasmin Jade Sneyd

Nursery Manager – Mangrove Village

My name is Yasmin, an early year’s educator with over 15 years of experience fostering young minds in Abu Dhabi’s nursery and KG departments. I have worked in both large nursery chains and independent private nurseries that follow both the EYFS framework and Montessori method.

My personal educational journey has been a mix of schooling in Abu Dhabi and all girls boarding school and University in England.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in early childhood studies, a Montessori teaching qualification, and CACHE Level 5 diploma in nursery management.

Beyond my professional accolades, I wear the hat of a proud parent to three wonderful children, each of whom continuously teaches me invaluable lessons about empathy, patience, and the boundless curiosity of childhood.

Inclusion isn’t just a checkbox on my list—it’s a heartfelt commitment. As a qualified special needs coordinator, I firmly believe that every child deserves a stage where they can play, learn, and blossom. For me, it’s not simply about teaching; it’s about cultivating a safe, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and empowered.

How Abu Dhabi is championing for their people of determination and children with additional needs in all capacities, ensuring high quality provision for all, makes me feel privileged to work in the Early Childhood field in this country.

My passion lies in championing the transformative power of play-based learning. I wholeheartedly believe that every child’s journey toward discovery and understanding is best paved through the magic of play.

Join me in my mission to ensure that each child gets the opportunity to thrive, explore, and revel in the joy of learning. Together, let’s create an inclusive, supportive, and playful world where EVERY child’s potential can flourish.

Her expertise includes pre-reading, pre-writing, and essential preschool concepts, gained from teaching at various nurseries, including Kidzventure/Creakids.
